Lodges and Cabins
Jernegan Lodge
The Jernegan Lodge was built in 1949 and is the centerpiece facility at The Res. Jernegan Lodge is the largest building on property and it accommodates up to 60 people. The building is equipped with full kitchen facilities and is perfect for day and evening meetings as well as reunions, receptions and other types of parties.
Lions Lodge
Located beneath Jernegan Lodge, the Lions Lodge has lodging spaces for up to 24 campers. The lodge has a small kitchen facility as well as a fireplace. The Lions Lodge is sponsored by the Lions Club of Mishawaka.
Kiwanis Cabin
The Kiwanis Cabin is a smaller cabin that accommodates up to 12 campers. The cabin has a small kitchen facility as well as a fireplace. The Kiwanis Cabin is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Mishawaka.
Tri-Kappa Nature Center and Murraywood Nature Preserve
The Tri-Kappa Nature Center and Pavilion is the home to a youth oriented nature education and learning center. The adjoining trail makes up Murraywood Nature Preserve and offers another area to explore the woods of The Res. The nature center is used in conjunction with nature walks, day camps and other nature centered activities at The Res. It is also available for group rental. The Tri-Kappa Nature Center and Pavilion is sponsored by the Tri-Kappa Club of Mishawaka.
